Brush Wolf Taxidermy is owned and operated by Stephanie Lee, who has 25 years experience in doing taxidermy work. In addition are more than 25 years of experience doing sculptural art, hand sewing fur hats, and other assorted craft work.
Originally under the name Deer Woman, the name was later changed to Brush Wolf. Stephanie Lee is a 1994 Graduate of MD Institute College of Art (MICA), a nationally renowned art school. Her major was in general sculptural studies. This provided an excellent background for understanding the natural “sculpture” of animals, and of skills in such things as molding, casting, and carving.
Brush Wolf Taxidermy specializes in mammal mountings ( small game and large game), with a sub-specialty of doing furbearers, most specifically the predatory ones such as foxes, coyotes, wolves, mink, river otter, etc.
